How do I get started with a home hydroponics system?
Hydroponics is a type of gardening where the plant’s roots are not in the soil but instead they are suspended in a nutrient-rich water solution. The plants get all their nutrients through the water and grow faster because they don’t need to wait for the nutrients to be released from the soil.
There are two types of hydroponics systems:
1) Ebb and Flow system – This system has an automated water pump that floods and then drains, over and over again, giving plants more oxygen than other systems.
2) Drip system – This system has small holes at the bottom of each pot, which drip water onto the roots of your plants.
